How = Make loom points refundable. So you can get back your loom point after you loom something. That way you can loom a stone and then sell the stone for 500k and then the person who bought it can just take the loom point back and use it on something else. Now you can sell your loom points sort of.

Heirloom should be a item. So when we retire we get them and when we want we can sell it on market or use on some item.

This is not really needed anymore, with the possibility of offering gold+heirloom a for heirloom b. Yes you can't just sell your loom point for any item.

But you can atleast "upgrade" other people's item through the heirloomed items you already have. Like, you got +3 A and find someone that got +2 A and wants to buy a loom point to get +3 A. You just make a deal +2 A and gold versus +3 A, you get the +2 A and heirloom that object, tadaa you got money and sold your heirloom point safely. The items don't even need to be the same, in case both traders want to change their equipment.

Still open to abuse.

For example:

I want to loom my Ragged Outfit. I convince someone to loom one and sell it to me. But after he looms it, I change my mind and don't buy it. Now they are stuck with a Ragged Outfit nobody will ever buy from them. PWNED!

Maybe looms are random.....like a birthday gift from a crazy aunt? Loosly based on ingame preferances of equipment.

I think if you made the loom points transferable you'd have to put a limit on it to keep it balanced as it is now.

As an idea, when your main can retire, you put an auction up "Offer: Heirloom +1" and then when somebody buys it, they select one of their items they would like to +1, and the character auto retires with the item in the buyer's possession getting the upgrade.

This way, the system is as it is currently balance-wise, but several steps are removed.

Unless there was a high fee for storing/redeeming loom points off of items I don't think I could get behind that, as you can pick up cheap loom points from alts, and could potentially use those to quickly +3 new and in-demand items.

Both times I sold my loom and loomed an item to +1 for someone, it was pretty shitty equipment and both times I was really worried they were just trying to grief me and after we agreed to everything in the forums they would say "no thanks" and now I'd be stuck witha shit loom.  I assumed admins would give me the loom back if that happened, thus why I had everything documented in pm's on the forums.

We insta ban scammers.
Since this year started we had one case where someone scammed someone else, everything was returned, else loompoint trading is going fine.
I'd rather see the coding time invested into other improvements to be honest.

If you fear to be scammed out of your point by people who say they want a straw hat loomed, request the money up front.
If you don't loom the items afterwards you get banned... There are already safe ways to do this without anyone risking anything except for their accounts if they wanna screw the other guy over.
