Look at the chest more closely, you can see lamellar cuiras under the silk (silk is great protection from arrows and infections caused by arows and bulets). Mongols like many others often wore layers of their body protective gear under the garments. Some medieval garments like kazaghand included padding and mail inside of it.
On the other hand Eastern Roman equipment often consisted of padding, mail, lamellar cuirass and padding (with holes for pulling out arms) over all of it, and garments again depending how wealthy was the wearer. Eastern Roman padding design were quite elaborate and standardized depending of it was padding for under or over armor.
Great work, as always Zimke! Maybe some armors could have a more intense bumpmap. But overall, nice to see more quality armor and variety in the mod.

I have general opinion that too strong normalmaps give worse look then the weaker ones, so sometimes some of my normalmaps unintentionaly end up a bit weaker.
