I heirloomed a courser to heavy and his costs jumped from 19000+ to 28000.
Im not sure is it a bug but my other heirloomed items kept the price.
Maybe someone know why or how to fix this, since I have to play in peasant clothes to upkeep my horse.

The upkeep cost stays the same. I pay 990g when it breaks, just like a normal courser. Of course on the website price is different, but that doesn't really matter.
