Main Character confusion

Hello everyone,

This may come across as a noob question.

I want to have a main character so I can use the marketplace, however, this main character is also the one who will participate in strategus. What happens to the Main character in strategus if I retire him in order to get a loom, change the name and completely re-level/re-spec? Will the old Specs, name etc remain the same in strategus or adjust accordingly?

It is the same character/stats in crpg and strategus.

So say for eg: I make Helm the main character then retire and change my name to Dumpling

Dumpling will be in strategus, have market access and aquire the new skills i give upon leving in crpg?
