My concern is regarding the model and the hitboxes.

You will either have a larger model and hitbox, thus an easier target for ranged to hit,
or you will have a larger model and same sized hitbox, which will lead to ranged weapons passing through the model but not registering a hit.

Either way, it is a game balance concern.

I don't think the second option will be very problematic, since horses usually move pretty fast, and the model will not be THAT much bigger, which means it probably won't be very noticeable.
