NA Map Management

Hey guys!
Because of Airith's busy schedule, and because it's just better to have help in life, I'm going to be serving as his assistant with respect to managing the maps on the NA servers, specifically, the 100-man, 80-man, Siege, and Strategus servers.  If you have thoughts or ideas about the maps running on these servers you can contact either of us about it.  My goal over the next couple of days is to update the maplist information for the servers and make it available here so we can begin to figure out which maps we like, which we don't, and which just need some more work.  As always, thanks for your patience as we try out and develop new maps and thanks to the mappers out there for all your creativity and hard work!

Posting here for officialism! Please welcome Kong Ming, he will be a great help in getting the maps more towards how you guys would like them.

edit: Alright might have been a bit of confusion, but you can send maps to either Kong or myself. We have a changelog to keep track of it as well.

Already the new maps are much more realistic and very appealing.  Simple environments make the cRPG experience much more fun.  Thanks to the developers and admins!

SIege maps still need some work. A couple of them end up playing out like SP sieges with everyone in one place

Improving and diversifying siege maps are top priority at the moment I believe.  Thanks for your input and patience as we improve!

Can maps be submitted to Kong Ming also? And what is the status of a map rotation/map voting? I think there should be a bigger campaign once the list and voting comes out to make players away of this forum so we get less bitching every time a map loads and more constructive criticism. Some thing like the MOTD pointing here.

Also, is there any rule about fixing small problems with other peoples' maps? I'm not talking about changing items or moving stuff. But there are a couple maps that have had either buggy spawns or spots you can glitch through for a while. It would take five minutes(hopefully) to fix and its killing me to see them bugged for months.

Oh, last question, I promise. What's the deal with map names all being Blank? Can that be fixed?
