Dunno if that's true or just trolling, we'll see tomorrow. Anyway sounds like a really easily abusable feature (the ability to do a 400 crates caravan of whortless stuff to deceive an enemy or to just troll him)
There should be some way to be able to argue what equipment the guy is bringing or at least warn if the guy is bringing a troll load Imho

Not exploit.

Feature.

(Lack of x-ray vision to peer inside crates = intended)

Nah that's not an exploit...I'd say it was just fooling the opposition.

How do you think the material for the pyramids was transported? By caravans bringing tons of stones

I do think those people should be marked as heavily armed rather than unarmed then.  I mean seriously if you have 10,000 rocks to throw, you are one deadly mother-fucker.

Has been used much in history: 3 wagons: 1 with gold, 2 with stones/nothing. Try to capture the right one.

He had to sacrifice 49 troops and a crapton of movement speed.  (All in all, he loses 49 hours of recruiting and all the time spent walking so you lose 24 hours of fighting.  The fact that you used 200 troops and lose upkeep is your own fault, but it isn't like that's much upkeep anyhow.)

Its valid.

That's the price of doing business (banditry business).
