So, after a long, and expensive trip of running Horse Saddles from Rduna clear down to Fishara in the desert and rejoining my clan elsewhere...it has come to my understanding that many of you have found good ways to make gold, and quickly. While those that are making these larger sums of Gold seem to be primarily trade clans, I'm looking to find out what is typically the best "honest" method of getting the biggest score for your effort!
To share my strategy I just used (it worked, don't get me wrong, just a long process)
1000 Horse Saddles crafted at 25g/1 in Rduna, equipped myself to say "Armed" and then I ran them down through the mountains, through the forest, up over the bridge to grandma's house, to the desert oasis and cashed out at Fishara. It was a slow process, lots of weight in cargo and no speed-bumping horses to ease my burden, but the final payout was ~75,000 gold (only enough to equip about 100 troops fully to tear apart peasant brigades). [[The Crafting took about 3 weeks, if not more, and some were donated for the run...the run took about 3-4 days, in which many trade agreements had to be made so I didn't lose it all]]
SOOOO...I'm drawing this out further than should be, but post some ideas on how you've learned to do what you're doing so I can explore my future options as a Strategus Trade Caravan operator.
