Does it posible to change your main character, and choose one of your alts as new one?

The only way to make a new main character is to delete your main and create a new one.  Any character designated as an alt will ALWAYS be and alt.  Usually the best option is to get to level 31 and retire.  Then you can change the name (withing 1 hour of retirement) and the build any way you like.  You keep your money and items and you get to heirloom something.
