i work 9 hours per day, at lunch time i have to cook for me, my daughter, my wife and feed the dog. at dinner, i stay with my daughter and my wife, in the evening i stay with em till they go asleep, then maybe from eleven to one past midnight i have time to play... if i don't fell asleep too.
one year and half ago, i had plenty of time to play... now i don't and the skill is going slowly down... especially chambers and stuff you need to be used and trained to do.
So, yes is hard to do if you plan to stay on par with the best players.
It's worse when you are a lance cav. 80% of the skill is "rule of thumb" timing and distance estimating. Even when I only don't play for one day I need to spend a couple of rounds to get the timing right again.
Things like blocking and feinting are more yes/no decisions and therefore seem to stay intact for a longer time.
Also, pizza delivery men are the greatest allies of game addicts.
