One thing about ATS is they know the worth of archers.  I can't tell you how many times in battle one will run in front of me and throw up his shield to protect me while I fight...and me just a randomer...that is appreciated.  It used to be fun to watch Goretooth protect Raina.  If the enemy went for Goretooth, Raina added some weight to them,  If he went towards Raina, Goretooth would remove a little weight with his BEC

And digglez, your equipment wasn't bad at all, you guys had quite a few of those massive board shields. Also, I was surprised when I had to stab some of your guys 3-4 times with my MW Longspear, so your gear wasn't terrible. I usually average 2-3 stabs per kill on the battle server for your information.

Round shield > Board shield.

I got shot thru my shield at least 3 times and heard others on TS saying same thing.

P.S. My fault on the whole no ladder thing guys, sorry.  Really easy to camp all those roofs with ranged by defenders.

It seemed like you were getting up on that back roof a lot without ladders. You definitely had more archers than us anyways, considering you had 49 fighters to our 29.

I dunno, as a rambo shielder it sure felt like you guys had more archers than us! lol. I think we had 5 or so archers and 2-3 xbows.

There is nothing wrong my with my crafted crossbows or board shields! You're not getting shot through the shield. No bow has ever done that to me. I suspect you're just not appreciating the shield's actual size since the force field nerf. You must be aware of how thin they are.

I say bring back the force fields, and just nerf huscarls!
