I have no idea what I did, but all of a sudden I can't see chat in game (it is a blessing, I know!), nor casualties. In options menu, report casualties is checked. What the hell?

Had the same on EU1 an hour ago. It fixed itself.

It is most likely caused by the fact the chat breaks down - If the chat receives too many messages in too short time, it has an automated shutdown built-in. I bet the messages earlier was caused by some of the siege engines, and that they were error messages.

You can still use "L" to see the chat though.

One of teams made a siege tower which caused lots of error messages, that broke the chat. I restarted the game and it worked just fine after recconecting to the server.
