To answer other people, i play this way with my main and i have great fun being a tincan on plated charger with no upkeep, but it is also true i have no loom points at all and my stats have a "roof" compared to lvl 30 builds...
right now i play:
15/15 ( so that i can wear heavy plate and ride at 5 )
and then all wpf in 2H ( when morningstar ) or polearms ( when lance )
at 22 i "max" ps at 5 and riding at 5 and then when i get up to 25 rest in ATH....
I have great fun even if im not competitive with lvl 30 guys but k/d ratio is always superior to 1-1 AND i help my team ( i almost always play in siege mode ) in 2 ways:
- Bumping others when they are fighting against allies ( that gives kills to my teammates and distract a lot my target )
- When defending i always try to go in the ennemy "camp" but NOT FOR KILLING ( as respawn is very quick ), i only try to hurt so that when the ennemy reaches its destination it has less life... ( easier future kills for my teammates )

So this is for sure a different way of playing, you will be easily killed by lvl30 guys but you will have fun ( and that's the point of a game, isn't it? )

i think the less levels counters the no upkeep advantage, because if i want a decent build i can only take 12/15, or in my case 13/15, so i can get a coat of plates. but i really will do a lot less damage then usual people, and i'm a lot slower

Because the heavy cavalry spam is rediculous, and a level 22 18/15 build with 6PS and 5 riding can do a lot of damage when using a heavy horse and decked out in the heaviest gear.

but then you suck on foot, and you can't have a shield, with a heavy horse, they will likely go for you if you dont have a shield, and it's probably mostly NA, cuz i don't see them that much on EU

it has advantages, but a lot of disadvantages, and i don t see too many epople doing this, so it must be because people think it has more disavandtages than advantages, right?

No having even 1 loom point after 173 hours of playing can be considered as the main disadvantage i believe lol....
