What?

Well he's half right.  2hers are far far too effective in close combat and tight corridors compared to 1hers.  Polearms are properly derp in those situations though, except for long pokey sticks.
And I should be nice or polite to anyone.... why exactly?

I don't know how wpf work but I'm still sure it increases damage and swing speed. Just because you don't know exactly how something works, doesn't mean you can be sure about certain aspects or what it does in general terms.
This game isn't about being skillful as much as its about saying things in general chat that enrage people who then go to murder you but in their rage they make dumb mistakes which gets them killed.

do you know how annoying it is when you cant even get off a swing because the swing arc TOUCHES EVERYTHING? I use the GLA, i can't imagine how stupid it must be for LHB or ESPECIALLY flamberg users.

I didn't see him saying he doesn't know "exactly" how it works. It would be more akin to saying "I don't know how wpf works, but I'm sure it doesn't increase damage." Although it might have just been bad phrasing from him. "I don't know how exactly the collision system works, but flamberge is still too effective in castle corridors" would mean what you're implying he means. Saying that he doesn't know how collision system works but is still sure flamberge is too effective in castle corridors (which is what he said) means something else. Looking back at it, it might well be the former, though. In which case fine, he's entitled to his opinion.

Gorant you are a notorious idiot who can not use a 1 hander, or think your uber hybrids should be the answer to everything and run to the forums as soon as some pure build kills you.

I invite you to try running around with a flamberge and light/medium armour instead of your current heavy cavalry and let us know how that works for you.

I also invite you to bring the same weapon to the tavern with the caverns - you will certainly think to yourself - why the fuck did I not bring a better weapon? oh ya - shits and giggles. Any 2hander is a better choice then flamberge on that map.
