Be careful, the problem with going 1h manual block is the mini-stun that heavier weapons cause.

Basically, if you manual block with a light 1h against a heavy 2h, you will be stuck in the manual block position for a brief period of time.  While you can usually block their next attack as well, this ministun will not give you any leeway to attack spammers.

I still get the stun with a shield, too.

Think M&B uses the weight of the shield to calculate stun time?

It just means you block twice, then attack.
Meaning lies as much
in the mind of the reader
as in the Haiku.
