implement burning houses, after 10 seconds anyone on it takes 10 damage a second until they jump off :)

so what you are saying is put a breakable system like they have for walls in strategus on houses or other camp-able areas based off of how many people are on it???

That's what I was wondering - would it be possible to do with weak roofs what has been done with walls.

Good idea, now go make the animations and the new textures!

I can't into vertices!!!  As I said, I was spitballing, and I have neither the talent nor experience to create (what I am sure) is a large and drastic change to the game environment.  Also, upon further consideration, what kind of lag would it produce?  Could the server handle it?  Would it reduce, for those with lower-end computers, their framerate to 2-5 fps for the duration of the animation?  Quite honestly, the idea popped into my head after reading people complaining about the logic of camping a roof in the in-game chat, and it's more of a theoretical thing.  Y'know, like, "Can we make a black hole in a controlled laboratory setting?"

we had firebombs once upon a time.. it was great!

They were made to stop camping inside houses and such, but were used just as much to camp as to prevent camping. Also there were some performance issues if I'm not wrong.

Setting certain buildings on fire would be a wet dream for me..  It should not be impossible to do either afaik.. if said performance problems would get sorted.

This, otherwise you should revert your post to your alternative you suggested. Also, the Khergit and Sarranid roofs wouldn't have any problems supporting the weight anyway.
