die in a fire horsemy old friend
+1

As inv i mostly have no other chance then to take a pike or bamboo spear with me.
That results in one weapon slot vanished for a p.o.s weapon where i got no skillpoints invested.
If i hadn't i would be bumped, trampled, lanced, shot, thrown, sliced, smashed and many more thing all over the place.
The pike is just a friendly reminder,
hey cav come here and i propably slow you down, if you are stupid i even might get a chance to kill you, but the chances for the later are very dim.
learn from the past, live the moment, dream of the future

Buff the speed bonus modifier for pike and maybe other spears. I just recently had an encounter with a tank rider. I have deadly pike, 5PS, 15STR and 116 WPF in polearms. I got a change to put in a perfect hit from the front as he was riding towards me. Stopped it, didn't kill. He turns around in which time I get 2 more hits on the back of the elephant. Didn't die. The problem with warband engine and speed modifier is that it doesn't take into account the masses involved. Like heavy weapons, horses etc.
Why is everybody telling me to think? I think, I just don't show it.
