You should still be able to trade it. +2 polearms appear as 'tempered' for some reason, but behave the same as balanced polearms on the market. At the very least you should be able to list it on the market for trade/sale. You should be able to heirloom it normally as well. However, it may not appear correctly in game (although it looks like it did, in your case).
