ofc, how ppl could have an army of 500 men.
You should be on top of your mate, click on him and you should see an option to transfer.
You can transfer troops, gold and equip.
Btw its useless to buy equip till you don´t have a battle. You better buy equip when you know where you will fight and its easier to manage equip by one person.
Always buy sufficient equip for all your troop, its better to have mow gear for everybody than good gear for small part of tour troops, otherwise u will spawn with no equip.
