How does the katana work?

I recently bought a katana and it came to my attention that this weapon can be 1 or 2handed. Next gen i plan on goin thrower+2hander so i'm wondering if the katana will automatically be considered 2hander when used with thrown weapons.

critiquing my build would also be very helpful =)

Level 30

Strength: 21
Agility: 15
Hit points: 56
Skills to attributes: 2
Power Strike: 7
IF: 5
Athletics: 5
Power Throw: 7

Throwing: 120

I never made a thrower but this build seems good.

    Strength: 18
    Agility: 21
    Hit points: 53

    Skills to attributes: 8

    Ironflesh: 0
    Power Strike: 5
    Shield: 0
    Athletics: 6
    Riding: 0
    Horse Archery: 0
    Power Draw: 0
    Power Throw: 6
    Weapon Master: 6

    One Handed: 1
    Two Handed: 113
    Polearm: 1
    Archery: 1
    Crossbow: 1
    Throwing: 126

Also Katana will always count as 2hander as long as u dont have a shield IN HAND.

With katana you really want to focus on speed but still have enough damage to kill. I personally love it due to its ability to take multiple opponents with ease

EDIT: You're build also seems good. Up to you of course which you want to go for. Perhaps you prefer being able to take a few more hits over speed.
