Sooooo... After investing umpteen hours of grinding into Lexor, my ultimate shield guy, I do a bit of testing on the duel server and find that there is no difference whatsoever between shield skill 10 and shield skill 12.

At or before skill 10, I had clearly reached some invisible cap past which it doesn't improve.

I wouldn't have tried to go for a 13 shield skill build if I'd known this. -_- Rather disheartened by the discovery actually.

Please can we see the caps for skills?? I.e. If your shield skill, in real terms, maxes out at 8 points, then for god's sake tell the players on the character page so that they don't go past that figure. x_x

I had dreams of holding off the sea raiders in DTV mode forever with my little red arena shield. ;_; Now they are dashed.

If anyone knows the caps for all of the skills, please post a list. I would also like to call for them to be shown on the character page to help plan character development. Thanks.

Apparently all skills should be capped at 15 now for effect. What makes you so sure there was no increased benefit?

Also confirmed by Alpha.

13 shield skill = 100+ shield resistance if the values have been unchanged.

A character with 13 shield skill shouldnt have his shield broken but it is breakable.

Either the skill cap is in place or you've changed the effects of shield skill.

Looks like some lazy dev broke it... it'll be fixed after next server restart (only for EU servers, others will have to wait for a patch).

I'm sorry mateys, but this still hasn't been fixed... I've now managed to grind up to 13 shield skill and my shields are still taking damage from non-bonus-to-shield weapons. The number of hits to destroy the shields is still identical to skill 10. This was tested on EU_3, the duel server.

At the risk of sounding pathetic, I'm begging you guys, please let me have my indestructi-shield so I can become a man of steel on DTV mode.
