Strat gold selling was a good gig before clans locked down the map and became self sufficient. It was fun, got to coordinate with a lot of other neutral and clanless traders and made over 500k crpg gold myself without much effort and hooked Clan Crafty up with another 600k+ selling gold/troops. Some clans were friendly to clanless players and bought gold in the beginning of strat to give themselves a little head start. Others? Well they may not be playing strategus or cRPG anymore but at least they have millions of cRPG gold.
If my trade route map was still updated, almost all the fiefs would be red dots (high fees or taxes).
