I'm giving up for today. I have spent way to much time troubleshooting this issue. Please let me know if anyone has success.

seems to  be working.. too afraid to restart the app and see if it works again

anyways i got this possible fix by completely deleting steam off my hard drive as well as the M&B folder in documents/Mount&blade

Oddly enough, when i wanted to join EU 1, i always got game crash this afternoon...tried like 4 times, then i successfully joined EU pecores, loaded without issues, and then i was able to connect to eu1 without any problems aswell, but never happened to me before :(

Alright so I figured out a work around when this happens....

If you Launch Warband in Native. Then try to join a cRPG Server, and then click yes to load the correct module. I am then able to join a server.

Try launching it in Native then Join a cRPG server and load the correct module.

tried that now all the 'improved' skin tones are showing as blank meshes

I crashed with dx9, ran with dx7 and joined a server with no problems. I then quit, ran with dx9 and ran without problems again.

its random if you crash. And i found native switch to be pretty fool proof way of launching successfully

EXCEPT I LOSE ALL THE FACE TEXTURES WHEN I DO THAT

CAN WE PLEASE GET SOME HELP!! I FEEL LIKE IM CRYING IN THE RAIN

it happens with me now too. last time i just unistalled crpg and reinstalled it, and it worked fine for a week. Now that wont work. i did the native thing and that works fine except everyones face is white as paper. crpg does not like us fellas :(.

Load warband up in Native, Then click on a CRPG server. It will load back into CRPG as you know except it wont crash. A side effect of this is that some people will not appear to have faces.

ive had this happen a few times but always fix it by closing all other open programs (which would explain why its intermitant for most users as programs are not always the same when u start the game) i found that having netflix or pandora up in the backround sometimes causes this issue i think its a conflict with another open program close ALL other programs (ctrl alt delete) and then it will work

I guess that would make sense... lol I always have pandora or netflix up.
