Armor Weight Penality and STR

I'm disappointed to see how peoples goes to facility and chose agi-oriented 2H build cause currently they're more viable.
Imho Athletic and WPF are the most important thing for 2Handers.

I can't deny Str oriented build is inferior to agi build so :

I suggest any point in STR or /3 point in str should reduce the WPF penality by a small percentage.

Afterall, the stronger you are, the easier you can wear heavy armor without being slowed.

We are already slowed by less wpf due to agility requirement for WM, let us keep more of our little wpf invested ^^'

Another solution can be another requirement cap for armor part like 2xWeight to remove weight penality. Someone with 24str could wear any 12w armor without any penality to wpf. (Need w adapt for helms, glove and boots)

It would make STR builds viable other than to just crush through shit -.- AND it makes sense! Hope this is taken seriously. Wallace is all skill hes slow as a turtle, his slow attack speed throws people off. Your case doesn't even make sense really. Just cuz a player CAN make a certain build work for them doesn't mean anything.

*edit* nah not plated but transitional armored player with a war cleaver with a pure STR build - goes thru maps 1 hitting everything.

Transitionnal is 22. Required 44 str with my suggestion.
With 2xW vs Str with 30 str you can wear sarranid guard armor. But i can be lowered. 2x 1.75x 1.5x etc.

I think it could be surprising for agi danish sword knight to encounter a guy like that.

I support this idea, as the amount of agi ninjas is quite overwhelming at the moment. Could be a bit hard to balance, though.

I support this idea as well, STR needs something to make it worth stacking (like AGI) and not just "get x str to wear something/use PD, PS, Pt then don't bother"

We have our own batch of "Ogres". We even had to train someone to handle them.

They're all slow, but they have barmaces. Block once, overhead. If he didn't die, overhead again. They are rather hard to fight 1v1 allready, speeding them up by decreasing the speed/wpf penalty wouldn't improve the games balance imo.

At least I can turn and run now when I see 1 comming.

PS
Slegg in particular doesn't like getting poked with a stick.

The problem is even if you are number 1 in NA you are still only number 467 in EU or the worst in AUS(number 17)

Bar mace had something like 93/94 reach. Danish/Nodachi etc. 120. Ogre are so slow you can run arround and kill them easily.

In 1h, front stab speed when the ogre trying to overhead.

Need some serious dev/modder reading feedback etc.

Actually it's :
Agi : Fast Attack Speed, Fast run, Heavy Armoured, Medium Damage.
Str : Slow Attack Speed, Slow Run, Heavy Armoured, Great Damage.

There's something Wrong non ?

Another fix could be make athletic depends of strength. Let footwork skills deals with spam. The criteria wich determine your sprint speed is your amount of leg muscles not your agility imho.

Make Athletics both STR and AGI based (so you have to lvl up both) ? I approve the message, also, i would make penalty somehow linked with ironflesh to make it more viable.

Athletic with STR and AGI requirement isn't a viable solution because if both has same athletic skill (due to same char points at lvl 30) there's no interest to try balancing. The main goal is to balance str build vs agi build. The athletic must depend on str. Compensing your slow attack speed by better footwork. And encourage skill versus spam. Two hit with good timing when guard fail against danish sword/katana outspamming for example.
