Player stats while spectating

This has probably been suggested before or it may be impossible, but:

It will be pretty cool if we can see some of the stats of other players while spectating such as:

Their HP
Their level and stats
What gear they have

No clue how hard it is to implement, though. The idea just comes up after hearing so many people ask others how many points they have in a certain skill, stat, or equipment-related questions.

Not a bad suggestion but personally I prefer seeing minimal clutter on the battlefield. I suppose if you had a small stat list such as name, health status, and equipment list on the side when you follow a player in spectator then that would be fine. This feature would have to be togglable though, I know many people prefer to keep anonymity while alive or their stats or gear list secret.

For the stats, they could just update the C-Menu with the stats of the observed player. The gear is pretty visible, although of course you don't see whether it's loomed. Maybe show a similar popup to the C-Menu as a simple list of all things when pressing another button?
