That is open source remake of Frontier: Elite II. It exists for a long time but I'm glad it finally got a point where it isn't butt ugly and clunky anymore.
Playing Elite: Dangerous is obviously better option and in a month or so Star Citizen 3.0 should go live, 20k bugs included. But it offers best vistas for those who seek planetary exploration.
