I despise ranged classes yeah but doing anything close to what you just suggested really would make the server an only melee with a bit of throwing server.

Not so long ago everyone and their mother would have raped that plus-button on the OP since it rants about ranged. Now, not only does the plus-button remain unraped but also there are dedicates melee players bringing up rational arguments against a ranged nerf ?!

On a related note, if you grab a 10 PD build with maxed longbow and bodkins you will find out that a lot of people with half decent helmets already survive headshots as well as nakeds survive shots in the torso.

dude, do not get me wrong, and do not forget that I hate ranged probably more than you, but what you are suggesting will kill ranged entirely.

Nah man, you could make them shoot balloons or even heal enemies when they shoot and the bundle of stickss will still shoot. They do it because they have no spine. It's not their fault: they have never had any parental guidance in their lives. One day hopefully they will learn what a man is.

Make xbows only shoot once, reduce bows damage to 0. Those meleequeers need to learn what it means to be a man.
