Would be cool, maybe only 2 in a quiver would be great to help judging long range sniping

I agree this would be very cool, but think of it....On average there are about 70 players in a battle server. 20%-40% of them are archers. Imagine the lag. It would be cool to implemented too but then gain there are the lag issues and the particle effects, etc.

I dont think the flaming arrow idea would be that bad. Probably less particles then a torch, and that isn't exactly a big deal anyway.

Then again I dont really see the point of them either. You want to use them as some sort of tracer round, but to be fair if a big arrow made of fire and hate is flying my way im going to easily dodge it and change posistion anyway.

The purpose of thoses arrows would be to judge the distance. I'm sure you won't be able to dodge it, since the first time it will be no where near you.  But at least, the 2nd one should be closer.

At the moment, the only way to know if you're shooting well at long distance, is when :
-you hear the thud sound, meaning you hit someone
-you see the ennemy archer that you were aiming to actually moving, as if dodging arrows.

When neither of this are possible, and you miss, you don't really know if the shot was too low or too high (hard to see the arrow). Only experience can help, and with the same bow. With the same heirloom.

So... why not. But i doubt any archers will take a 1 slot quiver with 2 flaming arrows in it. :S

make it a placeable quiver that takes 2 slot with 20 arrows in it, when u place it u can loot 1 fire arrow from it at the time and that arrow is 1 slot and non sheatable

Suggested many times. For realism it should do half the damage from normal arrows and half the distance too. It's not possible to shoot firearrows with full draw or they just go off in flight.
Why is everybody telling me to think? I think, I just don't show it.

Fire arrows should deal like nearly 0 damage. Firearrows were used mainly to light up tar pits to block enemy movement. (and probably for aiming better I guess, especially at night) However, Im not sure if the game mechanics allow for a type of arrow to deal much less damage than an other one. (the bow still adds most of the damage)
