I use black plate and strength build atm because its fun. Way more effective to go balanced/agi build and run round in loomed medium armour with a longsword or katana or some other speed freak weapon but for me game is about fun and not about  getting as high k/d as possible. If it was I would stop running into mobs of enemies swinging an axe rather than running away to spend 3 mins finding people to stab in the back.

I saw that plate was buffed after the 4.0.1.0 patch but now the values are reverted? Why? Plate is such a huge goldsink but it doesn't give you a run for the money. Barely anyone is using it and it's kinda obvious why. I'm not saying you should be invincible in it but with 10 IF and maximum plate armor it only offers you 1-3 extra hits before you die, depending on your adversary.

"only 1-3 extra", well fuck me.

It doesnt look good on paper so buff in game. People underestimate how big it is to be able to survive 1 more hit than your enemy.

Personally, I am more butthurt about still being dead after 3-4 body shots from an archer in fatty plate and 10str/if tbh...
When west germany annexed east germany, nobody moved a finger too.

I miss consistency. Plate can grant you long life in some situations, but sometimes you'll die from one well placed hit.

Consistency never really was a thing.. positioning helps a lot with not taking huge hits. Also dont get hit by overheads.

Yeah, STR has been pretty much fucked in this mod ever since Tydeus became balancer. No sense crying over spilled milk, respec to agility based build or quit playing.

Well its the quality of the playerbase thats also at fault: in NA Tydeus is actually decent player, I've watched him and he gets decent KDR. Admitedly, so do most ppl who actually can play, but I cant blame Tydeus for thinking he actually knew anything about the game.
I don't know enough
