I wasn't happy with the way this turned out. Floyd Mayweather didn't really fight, so much as abuse the boxing point system. Regardless of who won, people respect Pacquiao more. People wanted him to win for a reason.

Filipino guy didn't deserve to win, his punches are too light. Couldn't do any serious damage. He did put Mayweather off balance couple of times with well placed punch, but that's it. But Mayweather really didn't do anything. He won because he's big role model for black american kids and attracts money (undefeated murican champion, hell yeah). If he lost, that image would be severely hurt and we can't have that, can we? Especially when other guy winning means nothing for boxing money machine.

Big role model for black Americans?  Given his wife beating record you may not be far off the mark.

Watched the second round, wasn't nearly as bad as the internet has made the match seem. Maybe it's worse for the other rounds, I don't know.

Manny had 3-4 good rounds where he was landing good shots on Floyd but it wasn't enough. Good boxing match but nowhere close to the hype.

Professional boxing is a joke and has been for 20 years.  You can't even call it boxing if they are going to let you clinch (hug) the whole match.  It's technically not allowed, but not something they will disqualify you for.  IMO they need to either deduct a point from the round score on your 3rd clinch (of the match, not the round) or preferably disqualify you from the match on your 3rd clinch.

Then maybe you'd actually see a boxing match.  I'd love to see someone tally up how many clinches there were in this match.

Boxing would get so much better if they did something to/about clinching.

Pacquiao never had the power and you gotta face it that mayweather been training harder; not only in the gym but also in the kitchen with his wife.
