Stat reset idea

Ok here me out
Your main character can do a stat reset for say 50k gold, you can only do this a certain number of times say twice, if you do this you cant have any alts. Discuss

If you plan ahead, how is it even possible u might want a stat reset?

(do not use arguments like patch and stuff, as these are just meh :-D)

Ever think that someone might try a build and not like it? Or start playing one class and then think 'I wish I had done this'

People shouldn't be punished for wanting to try new things or getting bored.

That is why there is the reset at lvl 15 or retirement at 31 or option to roll an alt?

Edit: I can see why they should not be punished for making mistakes, but i cannot see reason for this, if you got low lvl, you can just roll a new one or retire at 15, so this is quite unneeded. Lvling to 18-20 takes one evening these days.

If you want to try spec out, make an insta lvl 30 and play to see, how it feels. Then delete it and start leveling ur main char, easy.

We already have a stat reset, it's called retirement.
