Preordered. With the new 3DS XL. It's going to be a good month.

Majoras Mask sucked with the time bullshit. Ocarina of Time was better

I liked the time stuff, gave it some extra tension. Ocarina of Time probably was better but it was far too easy. Except the Water Temple obviously.

Mate OoT was solid as a kid with no guide and no internet know how. And I never beat majora's mask, was first game I ever rage quit since I lost so much progress.

I'm thinking about buying 3ds largely for this game so I can finally beat it, but I heard they dumbed it down. So maybe I can only recover my pride with an emulator.

I liked both quite a lot. But as Berenger said, the time restriction was really too much of a hassle. I like to have a lot of freedom in the games I play, especially in RPG's. Majora's Mask simply didn't cater to that.

It's meant to be easier to save now plus with the backwards song of time I don't see what the problem was. Only time I got frustrated with losing progress was when the game crashed on the Gamecube version I had, which was common.
