i read that if you delete your main character you can resign it to another well i did that and now i have 4 alts and no main and i also tried to do a name change and that didn't work either can anyone help, i have no option to make a main guy my main guy, and for the name change what do i do i did the name change from the site but then what?

The word around the forum is only characters created after you've deleted your main can become new mains.
