ESC not working

I can't press escape when on a server. Can't change equipment or anything. How am I supposed to GTX if I can't leave the server?! I have to turn of the computer and it's really slow.

Oh, thanks, buddy! But still very annoying to do so when I wish to change equipment or change server.
