Game crashing.

Hey there. I have a problem - game crashing too often. I had 5 crashes in 2 latest days, and before that I rarely had any crashes in months. Tell me please what's wrong with my game and what should I do to prevent these crashes. Thanks in advice!

upd, just had 6th crash. Every time it happens when the map is ended. New map won't load, and the game crashing :(

Looks like a memory leak. Maybe try lower grass density and see if it helps?

But I am playing on low settings. Only character detail/character shadows and texture quality is high. Everything else is lowest.
I just realized, that I almost have no any free space on my hard drives. Maybe it's connected somehow?
p.s. had 3 crashed today,4 yesterday and 2 one day before yesterday. It sucks cos it is ruining my multi and leveling up :(

Hey. Sorry, but I am still crashing a lot. I cleared my hard drive, increased paging file and reinstalled both steam and the game. But it didn't help. Graphics settings at low, no grass, no shadows, no blood etc. I played on the same system and same settings for at least a year and had zero crashes at all. But now every day 3-4 crashes. It is getting annoying. Pls help :(

I am pretty sure that you are having memory issues (See the logs, near the bottom)


Download some program that reads our your PC set up and clock rates and shit (Think CPU-Z does that)

See if it shows that you have less RAM than you remember to have (Maybe a RAM stick fried)
Or if your GPU clock rate is significantly lower than it should be. (While idling on the desktop, and once again while running the game)


Also checking your fans is always a good thing to do. Make sure they are clean and working properly.

Checking your GPU temperature is a good idea as well. (While idling on the desktop, and once again while running the game)


That is about all I can think of right now, if anything else comes to my mind I will let you know. (Maybe someone more competent will see this thread as well)

I have same (or similar) issue like Porthos. Game was going smooth for a long time. Since some weeks or maybe for a month I regularly have the OUT OF MEMORY error and crash.

Did the last patches increase memory requirements? Admit my PC is not state of the art. Or is it anyhting else ... my pc is not overheating, vents are fine ...

BAD FORM: I triplepost it now. Becouse I had three crashes with "out of memory exception" in about an houre of gaming, like I posted before. You need more logs? Other information? Please answer me. And if you tell me i need to upgrade my machine - just tell me whats wrong.

Update windows drivers!

Check pagefile size

Empty some space on your HDDs.
