Stabbing with two-handed bardiches.

These weapons really look like you should be able to stab someone with them yet they are not capable of stabbing.  I think a polearm stab with 20 or so pierce damage would be appropriate.  The precedent is already there with the long bardiches so I can't imagine someone would complain.

Also, while on the subject of two-handed bardiches, the shorter one could probably use one more point of speed.

IMO the 2h bardouches do a fine job as is and would loose damage(?) and speed if it's changed to four directional from the balance changes. A nerf on a rarely used weapon isn't needed.

I'm not suggesting they be nerfed in order to gain the thrust.  As long as the thrust uses the polearm animation and does no more than 20p damage; then I don't see them becoming overpowered compared to the long versions.

Adding a directional attack except if you give it excruriatingly low speed/damage will always induce an overall weapon balance change.

All weapons are balanced with a mathematical equation. If something weighs a lot and swings fast it has to be short, if something is long and swings fast it has to be light and if something is heavy and long it has to be slow. As an addition a 3 directional weapon gets a speed and damage(?) increase bonus compared to its 4d counterparts.

For instance the nodachi would be much slower than the German great sword because it is pretty much the same length but weighs 3.5 instead of 2.5. The 3d balance bonus gives the nodachi a speed bump so it's one more than the German.

If 2h bardiches go 4d you would loose speed from loosing the 3d speed bump.
