2 riding just lets you troll around on a sumpter, which might be fun, but not terribly effective.

Agreed, I've got 2 riding on my Ranged character currently and trolling around on a Sumpter means you get killed faster than being on a Donkey. People will target you even faster. As is my recent post I've gotten 2 riding for future levels to get to a higher level of riding, but given you're already 35, it's just not going to be worth it.

Get the shield points.
