Dueling is based on how many rank points you have, but it's preposterous anyway, Firebus has like level 7 even though he's ranked 1. Renown is based on strategus activities like attacking fiefs and such I believe. Reliability is how much you showed up to a battle whose roster you're on, and Performance is based on how well you do during battles. All in all it's pretty useless and no one uses it anyway, just a rating of your character.
