Only just found this the other day, excellent game, even in symbolical value alone.
Seems the devs on FC3 got bored with all the mediocre, cliché Hollywood crap in the Far Cry 3 development and pooled all their creativity and talent into a niche stand-alone expansion, clearly aimed at nerds of the 80s and with that great ironical distance to the genre I think everyone who've frowned at the catering to far too widely-defined target audiences (the dumbed down games we've seen especially since the success of WOW and COD) will immediately find familitarity with.
