I am curious what you think my str/agi ratio should be and whether or not I can/should be mounted.

depends with lots of agi 15 24 you can really use the stab well but your low damage sideswings will suffer. I would say 15 24 18 21 probs personal i would go full agi for the stab since estoc is stab weapon (15,24) tho i have to say i really love 18 21 2hand

And now he can't play because of "common sense" and he doesn't understand how this common sense works

I'd go with as much agi as you can tolerate. The thing stabs need the most is range control.

30 pierce too damn overrated.
Whomever put estoc to cRPG, completely misunderstood it's use.
Estocs were heavy cavalry swords they were long and slow without a sharp edge, it was used to pierce only.
It should be 130 lenght, 86 speed, stab only 2h with 38pierce which could be used on horse. Also has to use polearm animation like Flamberge.

Believe it or not.... 24/15 is a good build for the Estoc.  The weapon is so fast you don't need a lot of WPF.  The 2H stab is so long that you don't need a lot of ath.  But when you push it with 8 PS......  it's painful.

But as other posters said.... you could go either way.  I always preferred 24/15 because I don't S key.  If you are new and have trouble blocking then go for the agi.  Most agi builds use their speed to pull people out one at a time.  You should pretty much always back up and try to pull your opponent to you.  The S key hero almost always has the advantage because they can spring and attack at anytime.

But if you like to get hot and heavy at the line..... go for the strength build and wear heavy armor.  Stay behind the main infantry and catch enemies trying to blitz.  Then at the appropriate time.... blitz the enemy formation and try to destroy it.  It's all about playstyle.  Whatever suits you best.

BTW 18-24 is a very effective agi build for a 2H.  You can do it at lvl 30 with no IF and 3 WM.

Imagine the zombie apocalypse.

Now imagine that there's a cure for zombie-ism which can only be administered via a gigantic syringe.

Now imagine that you're the last doctor on earth, frantically trying to inject as many patients as you can before the zombies get you.

That's how you play Estoc.

Heavy cavalry swords? You are kidding right?
Tseng: Used to the bitter taste of refusal, this only serves to reinforce his greatest life lession yet.
Cloud: And that is?
Tseng: Bitches, man.
