Nosgoth Asymmetrical TeamBased PvP

Nosgoth is a f2p competitive third person shooter: 2teams Vampires Vs Hunters; basically Melee vs Ranged where teamplay should be the key for victory.
As a vampire u can climb buildings and also fly but your skills are melee only!! As hunter, well u are the typical ranged camper :P
Team fights in deathmatch (score related on kills) or sieges (capture and defend); there are many classes for both team and skills u must raise and objects u can buy.

Right now the game is in beta and u can join in buying a founder's pack (1.85€ to 18€ packs), but only for this weekend u can TRY for FREE on steam!
So i will give it a chance and will see.

Playing it right now, i like it. Both sides are enjoyable to play. Maps are very cool for vampires to roam, and humans to find good spots to hold.

Kind of buggy still though as expected of beta, sometimes i can get 5 countdowns in a row without game ever starting. Also got stuck hovering by a cart when i was dragging someones corpse..

Also got some fucker with 340 ping on my team, when its such a small team of 4 people you really want everyone to be able to hit things reliably.

After playing for a bit more, level 11 now, i still like the game. 99% of the people playing are complete utter shit so im just wrecking everything, and sometimes the game throws you a bone and gives good teammates so won a round 30-2, 60-14 in total.

Humans are slightly harder to win with, but are also way more fun. Scout class is pretty cool and my old friendgy, going invisible whenever they get you down to low health and then running away to heal. Also bow deals massive damage when charged.

Vampires are kinda cool, but forces me to play the tanky class because not a single person is willing to play him, even though he is by far the highest damaging one.

Playing with a party is completely broken, if you are only going to try this game with friends then you will have to wait for a patch as its not possible currently. I tried with 2 others today and if you are lucky enough to start a party with them (which bugs out often) then the real challenge of getting into a lobby together starts, most of the time one or both of the party members gets the boot with some message like host party is full. Sometimes one makes it but the other cant, i only had this once though and then we got infinite countdown so we couldnt play anyways.

Kinda sad, messes up their free weekend a bit but game is still enjoyable if you are strong enough to carry 3 people on your back.

Men this game is intense! Flying around and turn up at enemies is priceless, the vampire skills are awsome and quite peculiar wheres the hunters are more classic; but the game is enjoyable and even now it's easy to figure out that having a plan and tattic will be important when finally clan fights will be on.

Coming soon (tho i dunno how soon it will be) :
- player clans
- new modes
- crafting

Playing with friends works now, have been dominating for 4 hours with 2 others, not a single loss, nothing even came close to a loss..

Been playing this a little bit. Has potential, is quite fun and the fact that the game forces you to be vamp and human, kinda makes sure that the game wont be filled with the usual "your faction is OP" kind of comments.

Anyone else getting the impression that "the hunter" is somewhat underpowered? Havent played the prophet class thou, but the achemist and scout appear to hit waaaay harder than the hunter. Wierd cause I kinda figured the regular infantrygrunt to pack a harder punch.

Hunter seems like the highest damaging class, my friend got up to around 19k damage each round as human while me as scout could only pump out 12-15k

Ehh the games I played my team generally spammed alchemists and naded the whole place since they had a lot of tyrants. The hunters didnt get much kills.

Spread reduction perk, grenade special there is a lot of damage to dish out. Against a tyrant lineup alchemists will probably be the strongest, but its kinda rare to fight more than 1 tyrant.
