That kind of hoodies are pretty cool.

Instead of head armor they would give some body armor bonus.

Various options are possible : colored, mail, fur etc.

hmm i like the idea of head gear giving body protection and the other way around but things might get too complicated

ofr you have an extra slot on the armour side for the shoulders and neck area so you can add pads or hoods as you say on top of or instead of other armours and canw ear them with other helmets and gera too :)
