Anyone know the penalties you get, when using shield with lance?

Cause thinking of respecing an gettin a shield on my lancer. 

It says in the megathread: - If you use polearm with a shield or from horseback, you get -27.75% damage penalty

So... either way i get the same penalties using a lance from horseback with or without shield correct :

yes.  its all about the one handed penealty,  doesnt matter if your other hand holds sth

On horseback your penalties with and without the shield are the same. You use lance 1-handed anyway. Not using shield on horseback is suicide.

Shields are overrated for cavalry, you should pretty much never be in a situation where a projectile is going to shoot you without negative speed bonus. Waste of skill points.

Shields are overrated powered for cavalry, you should pretty much never be in a situation where a projectile is going to shoot you without negative speed bonus you will be thanking your shield time and time again when a polearm user tries to rear your horse and ends up phasing through the horse's head to hit the shield. Waste Best use of skill points.
