And now he can't play because of "common sense" and he doesn't understand how this common sense works

Interesting article, but as a vet student I can say this probably won't be a success. This might be worth it if you want to keep your expensive horse alive to breed with it, but the number of people that would pay sufficient money to give their cat a prothese is close to zero.

You don't let the vet do a surgery on your goldfish either, it would be much cheaper to buy a new one. A vet isn't a doctor who will save his patient no matter the cost, that's the sad truth of being a veterinary.

I think pets are a perfect field to test new sugery methods. if you see it working with all kinds of pets you can start to try same methods with humans. Basically it is animal testing without deliberately cutting of their extremities befor you test the proteses.

This isn't about pets, it's about advancing surgery methods, that may, in future, be used on humans. This is a significant improvement over current prostheses.

Pretty sure I saw this on a dog a good while ago on youtube, jumping about on its robo-hind-legs.

this one can fly

In holland all cats are quatropters
I loot corpses of their golden teeth.
But he'll be around somewhere between Heaven and The Devil, because neither of them will take him in, and he'll be farting loudly and singing a filthy song.

i'll be there at around

My excuse would be I don't want to shoot my girlfriend, but that's a long shot, so to speak.
