Reserving this post to find something.

Update: I spent a long time looking for something unique and interesting to add. In the end, I came back to a previously suggested armor in those "Add these" megathreads. These have been time and time again overlooked or rejected. Whatever you could do to bring these armors to cRPG quality/acceptability would be very much appreciated by not only me, but I believe the rest of the community.

Proposed Armor Name: Lithuanian Conical Helmet

to go with

Lithuanian Lamellar

Personally, I think the latter looks perfectly fine, but for some reason, these have never found their ways into the mod. Thanks for the offer. Hopefully this thread picks up some more steam.

Dont waste your time dude, people are lazy, they always want new things added to the mod without them doing nothing.

A month or some, I tried to convince people to pitch in a small amount of money to buy some good modeled armours/helmets/shields from good modeleres, most agreed but when the suggestion time came around, they all vanished into thin air
Can't agree more with you. I am making models of armors and weapons for mods. Not for this one since everyone will shit about stats and historical shit anyways. They usually think how easy it is. If you want armors. Then try to make yours guys, to see the Hard work for each piece. Then we'll see :)

Proposed name: Turban with scarf
Would die for something like the drummers turban+scarf.

That drummer is awesome in general.

1H stab is the fastest, strongest and longest 1H animation. There's no reason NOT to use it in all instances. I don't know if it's OP, but it's boring. 1H used to be fun because you had a fast (left), long (right) and the most devastating attack (stab) and had to choose the best attack for each occasion.

Seeing as how I'm a Jester and would love to run around in a tunic I find this post to be the only viable thing to create.

Proposed Armor Name:

Mailed leather scale armor.

Idea:
There's something that should be easy to make.
Make a medium armor version of the leather scale armor, by turning the shirt right under the leather into mail. The model is the same, it should be a simple texture arrangement.
I would appreciate it a lot.

And I had my birthday recently.

I'm still open to suggestions..

Lithuanian Lamellar

Yeah the quality on that is pretty bad but stylistically, isn't the design more-or-less visitors can't see pics , please register or login
? I guess I could do a remake styled after the one your suggesting (looks to be using the Cuir Bouilli Over Mail model?)..

Proposed name: Turban with scarf
Would die for something like the drummers turban+scarf.

That drummer is awesome in general.

As a practical matter, that wouldn't work too well if it were all one head piece, since the scarf part that drapes over the shoulders would be assigned to the shoulder bones or whatever and would have severe clipping issues depending on what body armor you would be wearing.. though I suppose I could make a "matching" armor piece with the scarf part already on it using the Monk's Robe or Robe model as a base and reskin the Sarranid Warrior Cap to look like that..

Proposed Armor Name: Jester's Tunic

(click to show/hide)

This would be cool and stylistically simple enough, except it would be really tricky to do it any justice without either a unique model or some heavy model/UV map editing to get the triangle parts (Warband also doesn't play well with alpha maps)..

Proposed Armor Name:
Armored Hose with Kneecops

Reference(s):
A version of the "Red Hose with Kneecops with more metal protection...
Like with more of the same metal as the kneecops part, protecting shins and or feet...?
(click to show/hide)

I would love to see a more armored, heavier version of red hose with kneecops because while they visually match perfectly to red brigandine over mail, there is a big difference in armor values. w/ mail gauntlets and everything unloomed it comes to 50 body armor vs 37 leg armor. No other footwear comes close to how well the red hose matches with red brigandine over mail, but I hate getting poked in the feet for high damage when my effective armor weight is around 20 :(

If you make a heavy armor version of the red hose with kneecops and it gets added into the game I'll give you a loompoint.

I could reskin that model to look something like this (also the armor itself is pretty cool too right?)

I didn't go through every picture but 99% of them are really poor in quality.. like Half-Life 1 kind of quality

I just want a jester outfit.  Because roleplaying my class instead of some gay rondel shielder would make a lot of people happy

Take a look at the helmets in the spoiler. Those are more what I was suggesting, hoping the devs would in turn add those lamellar armors.

Animal skin helmets

Bearskin Roman Helmet
(click to show/hide)

Wolfskin Roman Helmet
(click to show/hide)

Not on those particular helmets but animal pelts on any of the existing headgear to go with the mail shirt + fur.
