In my opinion the Nodachi is lacking in speed as it is right now. My suggestion is just add 1 more speed to it. The nodachi doesnt even have a lol-stab. The highland claymore, for exapmle has a little bit less length, but is faster(92), with the same cut-swing damage(43), but can also stab!

I think an addition of +1 speed would suffice. Thanks for your consideration.

if you compare it to Miadao 93 speed is not stupid idea for that weapon
but 92 is more resonable

Compare nodachi to other greatswords, it would break the balance towards nodachi a bit.

Just take a look here:
It would make danish and german greatswords near to obsolete in my opinion. Sword of war and highland claymore is somehow easier to spot compared to other weapons, so disregard their stats a bit. (that's my opinion)
I think nodachi is a nice weapon for reach+damage+weight

Stab was removed years ago. Why they removed it, remains a mystery.

It used to have a low dmg polestab. But it got removed and no one knows why.

IMO nodachi and katana should have stab attack with CUT dmg because of it's shape, of course it should be ballanced properly also (in real you can do shit with katana kind weapons against tin cans)

The tip of a katana is shaped differently than the rest of the blade for the explicit purpose of thrusting attacks. If you look at it without the rest of the weapon attached, the tip of a Japanese sword looks like the poke-y end of a European polearm (look at the glaive for a crpg example).

As far as the nodachi goes, it wouldn't hurt if it had a modest stab. I kind of like its uniqueness though, as the only similar swords at the moment are the dadao and miaodao.

I kind of like the wakizashi/katana/nodachi being expensive for the stats on the weapon. It keeps them as an exotic rarity for the most part. Do you really wanna see guys running around in viking armor and katanas every time you play?
