So as some know ive been running solo on strat (having never done anything except farm troops/gold) so i have some more questions for people <3

Conducting a siege! As is obvious i cant wave attack so cant really take anything but im curious as to what kind of gear attackers bring?

I haven't been in a castle attack for a long while im usually defending so id like a rough idea of what you guys (UIF Coalition etc) all take to sieges do you take enough for a certain amount of catapults + towers or just as much as you can?

I understand if its uber secret clan stuff

In my opinion considering the fact that everyone has infinite silver thanks to duped gear, bring enough of everything that you would never run out under any circumstances.

well im a one man faction and while i do have plenty of silver id rather not waste it

For siege equipment, depends what you intend to build :

- weapon racks/healing tents/catapults are easy to destroy (++construction site +construction material)
- forward spawn/siege towers not so much (+ construction site +++ construction material)
- siege shields/ladders/stakes are very easy to destroy (+stakes ++siege shields +++ ladders)


For armors, the go to set is going ultra heavy with plate. 25% to 50% of your armors should still be light/medium sets.
For weapons its probably better to have a lot of mauls/steel picks/awlpikes and other short reach heavy hitting weapons, since sieges tends to be crowdy.


Everything else is up to everyone's personal taste and +3 availability.

for 2k army:
50-60 sites, 1000-1500 materials, 100 of each type of ladder(siege 150-200), 20 spikes, 20 shields
300 g.mauls, 200m.stars
100+ bows, 400 bodkins
70-80 arbalests, 300 bolts. Never buy anything except arbalests.
50-100 heavy horses

It's not perfect, only 50 zero slot weapons. 100-150 is better. & This army has 0 crates. You can sacrifice speed & buy more melee weapons

Segd's army is quit good, but I would get more of:

Medium ladder 250+ almost everyone can bring one which make them useful

Stakes and siege shields 35-45 good cover but brake easy so get a few of them

As he said 100-150 0slots 1h

And more throwing weapons,  they tend actually I would get a 150 of those

And of curse it also depends a lot on which castle you attack, some demands more ladders and some catapults and siege towers. So try to choose the gear depending on which castle/town you attack
