): Serial Key

I made a char 1-2 years ago and played for about a year and a half, then stopped playing. I now want to play the mod again so I installed cRPG and then launched it. When trying to join a server, it told me to enter my serial key. I entered my serial key and clicked "Ok", but nothing happened. It just stays there, and does nothing. I uninstalled cRPG, uninstalled m&b warband, deleted every file, reinstalled cRPG, and the same result. Please help. <3

open the command and type -> regedit -> then HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software -> then scroll down, and find a folder named "MnBWARBANDKEYS" -> click that folder -> on the right side it will open a new tab , double click the Serial Number tab, and put yours there, press ok and try joining a server .

Thank you for your time, but sadly it didn't work. In the regedit window it showed my serial key already in there. The problem I am having is that when I click "Ok" after I enter the serial key, it doesn't do anything. It doesn't give me a different window saying my serial key is invalid. It just stays there. ): ): ):

What I dont get, is why do you have to enter your key in game, since it is already registered at the registry of your pc.

Try this two option.

Click the c-rpg launcher, and tick the repair box and then try playing the game

if that doesnt work

re-download the game from here : http://www.taleworlds.com/en/Games/Warband/Download and install it again and give it a go.


If that doesnt work aswell, maybe go and post your problem to the official warband forum!

Well the repair didn't work so I'm going to re-download non steam version, thanks sabjorn <3

Your steam version shouldn't have asked for the cd-key in the first place, that is weird. Oh, well, let us know what happens.

try downloading CCleaner or Systemcare and do a registry repair and a deep scan, also do a virus scan a malware scan, try anything..

Also, register at the talewords forum, and open a thread there..

Hmm.. PTX said my steam version shouldn't have asked for the key in the first place... maybe I've installed it wrong? I downloaded the cRPG launcher, pressed "Play cRPG" and it installed. I have WSE2 ticked. When WSE2 is not ticked my mount and blade gives me a message saying "Mount&Blade Warband has stopped working". If there's any way to run cRPG in steam so it doesn't require a serial key then it will probably work.

IT WORKS! Reinstalled everything~! Now when I pressed "Ok" it did something!!! <3
