remember when you just started playing? I suggest that you dont renew crpg database let it stay like this :)
people are like potatoes, they come in different shapes and sizes and they all are beautifull
masturbating while looking in a mirror isnt wrong unless its the rear view mirror and you are driving a school buss.

it doesnt matter if you are happiest person or an unfortunate weeper, a powerfull beast or a terrifying creature. we are all equal, in the eyes of the reaper.

Would be cool if anyone could shed light on the potential risks of registering a new character? Will we just get a database rollback when this is over or will it forget my old account or what is going to happen if I do register?

Just got dropped :/

@Teeth, you just make a new char and play with random gear, don't register it on site to acess the equipement and you should be fine. I thinks
And now he can't play because of "common sense" and he doesn't understand how this common sense works

AFAIK, all these new chars are now being registered to random IDs given out by TWs malfunctioning servers, which means you won't have access to these chars, after this shit is fixed.
Also, AFAIK, they are just being registered as tons of random, new accounts on DB. I might be wrong, noone has answered me in IRC :(

I know that should be fine, but being able to do equipment would be a lot more fun as well as being able to continue a character after you leave or disconnect. If it is just a few that take the risk it's no fun for the others, so if everyone can safely do it, we could actually have some fun playing and developing new characters.

If the great auth warp storm is over you should have your old serial related id back and so your old account. Unless everyone gets a new fixed id. Then great fun will start.

My suggestion: don't play and wait till it's over.

Don't play at all, or just don't register new chars

I found a problem. If you leave the server you cant rejoin again with same char. You have to remake a new one everytime you want to join the server.Do not rejoin the server if you want to keep the char's stats and gold!

Yes, that's because during an auth warp storm you appearently receive a new id everytime you connect to the auth server(receiving server list). Best is to simply do something else and not play. This storm will leave a big mess of throw-away accounts.

Why does everyone ignore this?
