Joining Server problems: This character belongs to someone else.

Hey guys, I'm having some trouble connecting to the cRPG servers.
Whenever I try to enter one, I stay there for a moment, then I get kicked out with a message box saying "Error, Kicked from Server." and another, smaller one appearing in the lower left corner of the character selection screen, saying:

This character belongs to someone else.

This has been a recurring problem for me for the past three days. I had it before, but only temporarily. My MP nick is Screaming_Idiot.
Is this happening because someone else hacked me? Or someone managed to use my name on their own character? Or something else?

But seriously, how do I solve this problem? This is pretty annoying, so if anyone knows the solution or has a link to it please let me know.

The faster you guys post the better. If the solution somewhere obvious apparently is somewhere else, please direct me towards it.
